Montgomery is proudly celebrating Small Business Month all May long — and this year, SBOSS is doing something bigger than ever. From free workshops and expert speakers during Small Business Week (May 4–8), to district-level pop-ups in every neighborhood across the city, the entire month has been designed to meet every small business owner where they are and move them forward.
This month includes the SBOSS On Your Side District Series (May 12–29) bringing free resources, one-on-one support, and access to the Thrive Small Business Grant Program to all 9 Montgomery City Council Districts and Pike Road. Every SBOSS-hosted and SBOSS-partnered event is connected to The SBOSS Score — our new digital stamp card program that rewards you for showing up, with prizes including a fully sponsored billboard campaign for your business.
All events are free. No barriers. Just show up.
Small Business Week
Five days. Five free events. All at Dream Maker Studio, 39 Dexter Ave, Suite 209, Montgomery — unless noted. Each event earns a stamp toward The SBOSS Score.
The SBOSS Score
Every SBOSS-hosted and SBOSS-partnered event this May earns you a digital stamp through the StampMe app. Stamps accumulate toward prize tier drawings — including a fully sponsored billboard and advertising campaign for your business. The more events you attend, the higher the prize tier you enter.
SBOSS On Your Side
SBOSS is coming to your neighborhood. Starting May 12, we're visiting all 9 Montgomery City Council Districts and Pike Road — bringing free workshops, one-on-one consultations, and direct access to the Thrive Small Business Grant Program to the community centers and libraries nearest you. No registration required. Just show up.
